I followed the weight loss nutrition plan initially and lost a stone in 8 weeks even though I didn't stick to it religiously as had a holiday in the middle. Exercise wise I followed the stretch&tone workouts which are like a better version of a mix of pilates and yoga, it feels like you are getting a great workout but really improving flexibility and toning up. I also followed the Lower Back Series of workouts and that really helped ease my back pain to the point I don't now have any pain at all, sleeping was always a problem and used to really struggle lifting anything and some times simple tasks like walking were a struggle. I am so pleased I found MyFitZone when I did as I was feeling very depressed about how I looked and really believed that I couldn't exercise because of my back when it has actually changed my life in so many ways. Anna is amazing and really supports you and always happy to put workouts specific to your needs on to the website.
Yes this is me! Most people automatically assume I have always been petite and slim but this was me when I was 22years old and infact this is not at my biggest but I was so embarrassed about the photos I don't have many. I am not embarrassed now though, I am proud and happy to look back at this time and realised the sad and miserable relationship I had with food and exercise. It might not seem like it here but I had a very active job and also went to the gym twice a day and would go on crazy diets. It wasn't till I was around 28 that I started developing MyFitZone method and exercising the right way and eating the right way, over time I changed my metabolism and everything fell in to place. Now at the age of 38 I feel I am in the best shape of my life and eat pretty much what I like. People often also say that I exercise all day long as its my job but in fact I don't. During my PT session - 90 % of the time I am instructing and demonstrating, not doing the workout, so my workouts for me really come in the form of classes that I teach which I probably join in for about 3 or 4 of these a week and then any filming I do which is not every week. So on average I am probably doing around 5 hours of exercise per week with a lot of steps achieved as I am always on the go. Sometime when I am in a rush to get a new zone or some new workouts on the website or I am doing some live classes I might do a little more. I have been following MyFitZone workouts for just over a year now and I love it and can't imagine not being able to do a MyFitZone workout with Anna. I probably do around 4-5 workouts a week in amounts a little running too. Usually a Stretch&Tone session, a couple of weights or kettle bell workout and some HIIT sessions. I love the variety of the workouts, always doing something different keeps my muscles guessing and usually don't go through a week without feeling DOMS which I actually enjoy that feeling. I would recommend using MyFitZone website as the workouts are all very well instructed and Anna has a good way of making you feel like she is in your living room with you and really concentrates on getting the right technique. You can also request specific workouts and see recently put one up for me on hip flexor stretching so I highly recommend using that service too.
I initially followed the Busy Life Plan as I didn't have time to commit to exercise but wanted to do something, so doing 5 or 10 minutes a day worked perfectly for me. I soon learned to love it (took me about 3 weeks) so started introducing some of the other longer on demand workouts - there are so many to choose from. I have fallen in love with working out and can not imagine not doing it now. I always made excuses that I didn't have the energy or the time but soon realised that if it is important, you will find the time. Thanks to Anna I lost my post baby pooch that I still had when my son was 22 mths, I toned up and feel full of energy, these photos were taken 16 weeks apart so some might say that was along time, but I didn't really change my diet that much - I started doing a food diary and that physiologically changed the way I ate so that must have helped. I did exercise for a maximum of 10 minute on 4 days of the week and did 2 longer sessions of around 30-40 minutes and 1 rest day.
I joined MyFitZone January Kick Start Plan and lost almost a stone in 4 weeks which I was so pleased with - Anna told me that her philosophy is not about quick fixes its about a complete lifestyle change but I am so pleased with my results and the workouts were great fun, interesting and different to what I was doing before so it was both challenging and motivating. I followed the nutrition weightloss plan which I found surprisingly easy to follow and the recipes were simple and delicious. I could not recommend Anna and this site enough, so much content and so much support, you could actually do a different workout every day of a year and still would get through it all as new content and videos are added weekly. I used to hate being naked around my husband and felt embarrassed and self conscious wearing a swimsuit, it really got me down and was quite depressed about it. With Anna's help, not only have a learned to love my body and feel confident I have created an huge awareness to how exercise and nutrition can really change your skin, your mood and your energy levels, I didn't really need to lose that much weight I just wanted to reduce my cellulite and feel better about myself and that is exactly what I have achieved. I follow Anna's monthly workout schedules - I don't have to think and plan my sessions as she does it for me, she takes the thinking and the planning away which suits me perfectly being a busy working mum.
Having followed much the same exercise routine for several months and struggling to maintain my enthusiasm for it, having not seen noticeable improvement, I was looking for fresh ideas and the inspiration to re-invigorate my approach. I also wanted to make my training more efficient and effective, as with the demands of work and family, time is always at a premium. I joined MyFitZone in June 2016 and subsequently completed training sessions online and personally with Anna. I found the sessions challenging, enjoyable and effective; they worked my whole body, at a high intensity and could be squeezed into 20 minutes or expanded to a full hour. I still run, cycle and swim regularly, but also do two or three TRI and FIITworkouts per week and have also adapted my approach to food and drink. Indeed, the nutritional advice and guidance has been key. But I have so seen the benefit; I am fitter, faster and leaner! Indeed I am in as good shape as I was ten years ago.
I’ve been following the MyFitZone sessions since July. I find it a much easier way to motivate myself to exercise than going to the gym. While challenging, I really enjoy the sessions and feel I’ve really achieved something at the end of every one. My energy levels are up and I’ve also noticed a change in my body shape which is always a bonus!
I am a busy mum of 3 young children and I work full time, I can't afford to spend money on going to a gym and MyFitZone has been a breath of fresh air having tried a lot of online sites, but for me they didn't work and found it hard to follow, I love the fact that you can follow a workout plan for a month and its really motivating when you start seeing it become easier and then you get a whole new set of workouts the next month! I also love the live classes and the challenges I can easily fit them into my hectic routine. Its not easy getting yourself motivated to start but get through a month and I can honestly say you will be hooked. I started MyFitZone in June 2016 and saw great results in a few weeks. I'm the lightest I've been for more than 5 years but more importantly for me everything has firmed up. I have been doing the FIIT workouts for about 6 weeks now and thoroughly recommend them. It's challenging but great fun and each exercise is so well explained. I like that they allow you to go at your own pace, you give as much as you can on each exercise so how fit you are when you start does not matter. It really is for all and no pushing or shouting involved, just very friendly well informed exercise experts.
I am already very fit and take part in marathons and triathlons.For me joining MyFitZone has improved my fitness to perform better in my disciplines and also the biggest thing for me is the improvement I have found in my posture.My upper body strength was so poor but I have really seen huge gains and this has really helped me realign my back and strengthened my core.
